First Annual Alamance Art Extravganza
Alamance Artisans First Annual Art Extravaganza in Haw River, North Carolina
Join the Alamance Artisans this fall for the first annual Art Extravaganza, formerly the Studio Tour, at the beautiful Vailtree Event & Conference Center. The event center is located at 1567 Bakatsias Lane, Haw River, NC, and will be held on Saturday, October 14, 10 am–5 pm, and Sunday, October 15, noon–5 pm. Twenty-five artists will gather in one indoor location to show and sell their works.
This is your opportunity to experience a diverse range of original fine arts and fine crafts which will include oil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings; functional and sculptural pottery; turned wood art; fiber art; jewelry; and more. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and meander through the exhibits. All art-lovers, from the casual browser to the avid collector are sure to be delighted. This is a free event and open to the public.
The Vailtree Event Center is a fantastic venue offering over 12,000 square feet of multiple connecting rooms. It is conveniently located directly off I-85/I-40, exit ramp #150, between Mebane and Graham. Bakatsias Lane is directly opposite the parking lot of Alamance Community College at the end of the service road. The center is wheelchair accessible with ample parking and restroom facilities.
A preview exhibit will be held at Alamance Arts featuring artwork by the Extravaganza participants. Located at 213 S. Main St., Graham, NC, the exhibit will be open Thursday, October 5 through Monday, October 16, 9 am-5 pm daily. Please note Alamance Arts is closed on Sundays.
