Kleiman, Sharon

Sharon is an award winning abstract artist that had attended Rhode Island School of Design in 1976 and put her art on hold to join the corporate world. In 2012 she was discovered as a ‘unique’ abstract artist afte taking an abstract painting class which resurrected the creativity inside her that lay dormant.  Suddenly, vibrant color and texture became a new experimental process, exciting and delighting with a force of passion that could not be contained. She continues to explore various techniques which emulate in her work. Her medium is mostly different forms of acrylic and gels and pastes, along with ink and other mixed medium.  There is no limit to where Sharon will go to create a unique piece of art. Inspired by journies to art colonies and workshops at Old School Square in Delray Beach, FL, where she lives and in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Her work was on the cover of 3 issues of the American Journal of Critical Care. As an exhibiting artist for juried shows with various organizations.
